Yipee, Summer is Finally Here!

Somehow we had an extra-long winter and pretty much skipped spring this year in Utah. Those of you who live here know exactly what I mean. Last week we struggled to get to 60 for a high and now it's scorching in the mid 90's. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Personally I'll take heat over cold. I don't mind. I don't like bundling kids in coats and then trying to squeeze them into their car seat. Telling them to "get your flip flops and let's go" is much easier.

I absolutely love summer mornings. Laying in bed with the window open listening to the birds and feeling the nice cool air. Nothing beats it. Yesterday the kids were so excited that it finally seemed like summer so we got out the slip n slide. It was really fun and I had a great time watching them and taking photos. Later this evening I'm going to Ephraim to stay at my brother's new house. I'll post about that when I return. Until then...have a beautiful summer day.
