This Thing Actually Works!

Back in January I was invited to a Tupperware party. I went there just to buy some measuring cups as the markings on mine have worn off. I was a bit curious about a product they called "FridgeSmart" containers.

I LOVE a good salad made with baby spinach. I buy it in bags from the store and after I've opened the bag I usually could get about two salads for our family out of it before it went bad. These containers are specially designed with vents so the produce gets proper air flow. Some need more than others. Printed on the side of the container is a list of different types of produce and how much venting you should give it (there are two little vents you open and close. It tells you to have one or both or none open.)

Tupperware isn't cheap and neither are these little containers, but I have discovered it is worth every penny. The first bag of spinach I bought lasted until we used every single leaf up. Same with the second bag. I will probably pay for the container in savings of not having to throw away a half used bag of spinach that have gone soggy and rotten.

Sounds like something I could use. Have you ever heard of Green Bags? I ordered some last year and they work pretty good at keeping produce lasting longer. I especially like them for lettuce and strawberries. My strawberries last forever in them. Look them up. I have seen them sold at Target and Rite Aid.

I seldom buy tupperware because of the price. I may have to reconsider. It's always nice to buy something that actually works.
