Snowbird

Jason's work had a party for the employees and their families on August 19 up at the Snowbird resort.  We had all access, unlimited passes to all the attractions.  We had a blast!  Alyssa and Ian loved riding the chair lift up to the Alpine Slide.  There was about a half hour wait to get a sled, but they didn't seem to mind too much and we rode it a couple of times.

We also rode one of the chair lifts up the mountain.  First of all, I'm shocked that Jason agreed to do this with Ian and Andrew (Ian can be a bit impulsive and Andrew is, well 19 months old.)  But we did it and I have to say I think it was the absolutely beautiful.  I think it was my favorite part of the day.  The mountain meadows were just so pretty with their trickling streams, rocky ledges, blossoming wildflowers, and we even saw some deer below us.   At the top of the lift we walked through the tunnel to the other side of the mountain.  This side looks down on the American Fork Canyon side of things.  Again, just beautiful.

One of my favorite pictures, click for a larger image, I love the look on Andrew's face.
What's good after pickles?  Toes, of course!
***First day of school and Ian's birthday pictures to come soon, so check back.***
