Well it has happened. I am now 30 years old. I had a lovely weekend. Saturday night Jason arranged for a babysitter and we went out to Market Street Grill in Salt Lake for dinner. It was so nice to get dressed up (nice causal that is) and go to a nice restaurant without the kids. Sunday morning Jason got up and made us french toast for breakfast. That evening after church we went to my parents house for dinner with my brother and his family and my Grandma. My cousin Lori's family came over for cake later that evening. This picture is of the kids helping me blow out candles. Alyssa was the one to arrange the candles on the cake. She clumped them all together around a #1 candle (she just used what she found) and when we lit them it was one big huge flame and the #1 was melting so fast into a huge puddle of wax in the middle of the cake. It was kind of funny.
Today my friend Margaret was so kind and came up here. We went out to lunch (with the kids of course, so it wasn't anything fancy, but fun anyway.) Thanks Margaret for the little gift and for taking the time to come up. We talk on the phone a lot, but it's always nice to see each other face to face. Also, thanks Mindy for your nice phone message on Sunday night. You know, as the baby of all the cousins...being 30 makes the rest of you old! ha ha.

Hey Mary Lee,
I am so excited! I have never been mentioned on a blog before! It made my day. Thanks for going to lunch with us. It was the highlight of my week! Sorry I didn't include a card...I will have to send one. You are always so good at those.
xoxo,
Margaret
