On Friday night we went with our friends the Harvey's to see Ogden's Christmas Village. I have to say, Ogden does a good job at this little show. For some reason last year and again this year we just had to pick the coldest night of the season to visit. But it was really fun anyway.
For those of you who haven't been downtown Ogden during Christmas time and haven't seen Christmas Village picture yourself in a dazzling winter wonderland set a glow with Christmas lights. Many are set to music. Adding to the beauty of the lights are dozens of small cottages each with its own theme. Peeking in the windows of the cottages you find a themed setting of creatures and lights. (Yeah, I'm not much of a writer so I basically copied this from their website. Sorry.) The kids love going from one cottage to the next and peeking in the windows to see what is there. Here are a few pictures from our freezing adventure.

Yes, we have our issues with Ogden (for good reason after living there over 10 years and Cam's work) but I have to agree, the Christmas village is wonderful. They have added lots of little houses over the past few years. We go every year, no matter what. Our favorites are Rudolf's diner (where Frosty is all melted from the chili) and the one that is all vintage toys and games (can't remember the name) Glad you had fun!
We went to Christmas village every year when we lived in Ogden. I have always loved it, especially as a kid. Ogden will always have a special place in my heart...met you, met my husband, graduated from college, and had three of my kids there....
